Favourite and most used brushes

I recently cleaned my brushes and I was gazing at them lovingly while they were drying and decided it was time for a new post (since it’s been a trillion years).

Brushes can be the defining factor in a make up look and I’ve rounded up my most used and loved ones. They’re divided up my usage (face and eyes). Pictures and descriptions below!

If you remember my post from November, (Yes it has been that long since I’ve had a post up, I’m sorry!) then you will remember these little gems. This post is going to center on the Lippie Stix and I will have a post up soon about the Super Shock Shadows.  Continue reading

Too Faced Pretty Rebel Palette review and swatches!

31 Day nail challenge-Day 30!

Inspired by…a tutorial!

I used the Ikat Print Nails!!! tutorial from Youtuber MissJenFABULOUS. If you’ve never watched any of her videos, you should. She’s gorgeous, and seems like a super nice girl. Here’s her video

I used a nameless raspberry coloured polish from Nicole by OPI, Lickety Split Lime from Sally Hansen, and black and white striping polishes from KISS.

31 Day nail challenge-Day 29!

Inspired by…the supernatural!

This was the best thing I could come up with. Zombie nails. I like how they turned out. I’m sure they could’ve been better though. My love of the show, The Walking Dead basically inspired me to do these nails. If you haven’t seen this show, you really need to. It’s awesome. I don’t really remember what polishes I used for this, but if you want to recreate it, just pick a few muddy colours, with a green mixed in. I used a sponge to apply the polish so that it looked more skin-like. I used a toothpick to “dribble” on the blood. Enjoy!

(I left the mess around my cuticles to add to the effect, so don’t worry!)
